The Inside Service Sales Manager plays a pivotal role within the Juniper EMEA sales team, overseeing the Inside Service Sales team's operations to proactively renew expiring service and subscription contracts. This position encompasses both leadership and operational responsibilities, with a primary focus on achieving financial objectives and providing exceptional customer service. The Manager will be responsible of all run-rate renewal and primary contact for an outsourced renewals team.
Responsibilities:
•Act as the primary point of contact for renewal-related inquiries, addressing customer concerns and objections while facilitating successful renewal negotiations.
•Collaborate with customers, partners, and account teams to discuss and negotiate terms, pricing, and service options, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
•Utilize comprehensive knowledge of tools, systems, processes, and policies to develop proactive and reactive renewal strategies.
•Partner with Services Business Managers and field sales to drive attainment of team quotas, particularly for maintenance renewals and subscriptions.
•Prepare renewal quotes accurately and in a timely manner, leveraging available dashboards to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
•Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, agreements, and renewals in CRM systems.
•Work closely with various teams to ensure positive customer experiences and align renewal strategies with overall customer relationship management.
•Interact with related teams to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and manage escalations related to service and software renewals.
Management Responsibilities:
•Assist in managing the outsourced vendor involved in the renewal process
•Coordinate individual and team forecast target setting and performance analysis.
•Measure individual and team performance against sales goals, providing training, mentoring, and technical development as needed.
•Oversee knowledge-related activities, including capturing, sharing, and optimizing the usage of knowledge assets.
Required Skills/Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, with at least 5 years of service sales experience.
•Strong interpersonal skills with 2-4 years of experience in sales team management.
•Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
•Demonstrated financial, operational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Proficiency in CRM systems such as SAP and Salesforce. Advanced user of Word, PowerPoint, and Tableau. Excel expertise.
